We will be giving FREE classes for absolute beginners every week, and look foward to offering an environment where advanced dancers can flourish.

Class times:

7 - 7.30pm.....absolute beginners- FREE! -- This half hour is dedicated to introducing people to the wonderful world of salsa. A little bit of history, rhythm, and of course, the basic salsa steps. This is a GREAT way to try salsa for the first time. 

7.30 - 8.30pm.....Begginers and advanced begginers--Couples work, moves, body isolation, technique, rueda, musicality, rhythm and timing...

8.30 - 9.30pm.....Itermediate and advanced intermediate--Couples work, moves, body isolation, technique, rueda, musicality, rhythm and timing, tricks and dips...

9.30pm onwards.....Social dancing

Classes are run by Matthew Corrie and Izzy Washington.

Matthew ewcently returned fgrom several years teaching around Europe and South Africa. His musicality and passion for salsa, combined with technical expertise, make for classes that are inspiring, a little bit challenging, and a lot of fun. 

Izzy has been dancing since the age of six, begginning with classical ballet and expanding into Jazz, Contemporary and Funk. In recent years her passion has taken her into latin styles including Tango, Reggaeton, Zouk, Bachata, Afro-cuban and Salsa!!

Many Salsa classes offer instruction in a strictly LA or Cuban style, with passionate advocates on each side. These two styles represent only a snapshot of the global salsa community. Salsa is a melange of styles developed over time, from a rich history of cultures and communities around the world.
