Currently Fabio Robles and Ana Andre Directors of Robles Dance Academy

"SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE"

In all aspects of our work we offer profound expertise, professionalism

and vast experience as performers and event organisers.

 In 2008 Ana Andre is  Red Symons dance partner on the TV hit

"DANCING WITH THE STARS"

 In 2005 Fabio Robles and Ana Andre took the  12th place in the World at the

World Tango Competition held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 25.000 couples

entered the competition world wide.

 In 2007 Fabio Robles and Ana Andre performed in front of over

15.000 people at the WOMAD festival. Other artists included the

GOTAN PROJECT, MARIZA to name a few.

In 2007 Fabio Robles and Ana Andre choreographed the stage Tango show

SOLO TANGO at the VIvaldi theatre in Canberra, with renound Argentinean pianist

Marcella Fiorillo

 In 1998 Fabio Robles was the Director of Vic Health Family Fiesta, held at the

Victorian Arts Centre, coordinating one whole week of Latin American

entertainment including music, dance, cinema, childrens programs and food.

 Making News

In 1982 Fabio Robles took on his first professional dance tour after arriving in

Australia in 1981. Fabio was the lead dancer in an Argentinean Folkloric

Company that toured for one month to all the regional towns in Victoria.

For Multicultural Day at the Footzcray Football oval, Fabio Robles choreographed

over 600 performers in a spectacular pre-match presentation. 

The Boite turns 21 years old. Fabio Robles was invited to perform The MALAMBO

as a feature act.

 In 2006 Fabio Robles and Ana Andre choreograph a show called TANGOS VIOLIN.

The show sold out at The famous Spiegel Tent for the Melbourne International Festival,

 and it also sold out a one week season at Her Majesty's theatre in Perth. 

The reviews read; " Award winning Tango Dancers Ana Andre and

Fabio Robles were simple incredible"

In 2006 fabio Robles and Ana Andre perform on stage with the World Tango Champions

Gisela Galeassi and Gaspar Godoy for the Perth Regional Championships.

 Rios in Richmond

Rios opened almost 20 years ago, Fabio Robles put together the very first Latin

Show in Melbourne, with Lambada, Capoeira, Tango, Salsa, Mambo, Batucada,

Timbala and the very famous Fabio"s trade mark Lambada Competition.

You will hear lines like "que pasa Muchacho" or "Take it easy my friend" or

"Party People" those lines live in the hearts of most Latin performers in Australia.

Performing in Portugal was a lot of fun, at this Milonga where Fabio and Ana

were invited to teach a workshop one week after Osvaldo Zotto and

Lorena Ermosida performed the week before.

The very first ONE NIGHT IN BUENOS AIRES was held in Melbourne with local dancers

Alberto and Natalia Cortez, David Beckler and Dianne Haywood.

 ONE NIGHT IN BUENOS AIRES tango show, every year Robles Dance Academy

will travell to Argentina, hand pick dancers and mucisians and bring back a show

to tour Australia and NZ. This show washeld at the South Sydney Juniors.

In 2007 ONE NIGHT IN BUENOS AIRES toured Australia and New Zealand and sold

over 15.000 tickets. This show is a theatre show/musical with actors and

different scenes, written, choreographed and directed by Fabio Robles.

 The Moomba Festival

Fabio Robles became the Artistic Director of the Latin American section of the festival,

a while back it focused a lot on multiculturalism, "we were able to change the day parade

into this massive Carnaval parade at night time", attracting over 30.000 people.

The Latin Village attracted 11.000 people per day for 11 days. In the program we had,

 dancers from all over South and Central America, bands, childrens program, food roving bands,

 it was a true latin fiesta.

a scarf she had finished knitting that same night, and said," This is for you to
